Hank's Haute Dogs - officially some of the best in the nation.
Bon Appetit Magazine has named Hank’s Haute Dogs as one of the countries top places to have a hot dog. The gourmet hot dog restaurant on Coral Street in Kaka’ako, opened its doors in July 2007 and its second location in the International Market Place opened a year ago. Popular with locals and visitors alike, Hank’s Haute Dogs has delivered exotic and always unique and delicious offerings to visitors since then.
“We’re just thrilled about the recognition for the Portuguese sausage dog and other local favorites,” says owner Henry “Hank” Adaniya. who offered free hot dogs at both the Coral Street and International Marketplace locations two weeks ago to celebrate the award – and national hot dog day. Both Haute Dog locations offer signature favorites from the original Kaka’ako store such as Chicago style, Chili, Lobster, Chicken Portuguese dogs and daily special dogs along with Awesome French Fries and other sides. Beverages at Kaka’ako store include Pineapple Slush, Lilikoi-Lime Soda and Fresh Hibiscus Lemonade, and there’s even mango on the menu – try one of the locally made Waialua Mango, Pineapple or Lilikoi Sodas served at the International Marketplace location. Hank’s is closed on Mondays, and on Sundays, the Coral Street location is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the International Marketplace location is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
